Brooklyn

The Couple

I first met bride, Emily, through a local Facebook group. She was looking for a wedding planner and we instantly connected. Emily, her partner, Brian, and I all happened to live in the same neighborhood and they were looking to create a wedding that celebrated Brooklyn natives.

The Team

After a few rounds of searching for the perfect hidden gem in Brooklyn, the couple chose the Park Slope Library for the location of their nuptials. Perfectly complementing a nearly full team of Brooklyn based vendors.

Wedding Day

The day began with our bride getting ready in her Brooklyn apartment with some of her closest friends and family. Even rain could not keep the couple from the sweetest first look amongst the book stacks of the library. Finally, the time came for the couple to say “I Do” in front of a gorgeous fireplace beautifully adorned with an organic wildflower garden, Deep plums and rich pops of red flowers lined the dinner tables that featured an eclectic tabletop design with vintage aesthetic. Custom library book check out cards doubled as escort cards and favors. After all the eating, drinking and dancing the couple celebrated their wedding day with a donut smash to the face. A very specific request from the bride we made sure to execute. We wish you a lifetime of happiness E&B!
